Montreal-based vocalist Karen Myatt fuses jazz, soul, rock and global influences together into a singular voice of her own. She has performed across North & South America and Europe and has appeared at NYC’s Town Hall, the Halifax Jazz Festival, on CBC Music’s East Coast Music Hour, and has shared the stage with the likes of Ireland’s Celtic Tenors, Ru Paul’s Drag Race’s Thorgy Thor, Montreal’s The Box, Ranee Lee, and Symphony Nova Scotia.

Her first commercial release Femoir featured both traditional and contemporary covers as well as the artist’s first original works,

Myatt’s latest effort Valise captures and conveys both the act and the art of sacred travel. Inspired by journeys (internal and external) over the past decade, the new songs explore time travel, spiritual quest, and multi-cultural pilgrimage – experiences that exist well beyond the veil of tourism.

Valise will be released globally on September 4, 2026.
